Tasks

-Utilise your project management skills and take responsibility for the financial performance of the projects including liaising directly with clients on fees and commercial matters. -Apply your engineering expertise to shape our projects, moving them towards net zero carbon. -Play an active role in all stages of our projects from feasibility through to completion across a range of sectors, including commercial, residential, education, rail, hospitality, energy, sport, health and mixed-use developments. -Work in an interdisciplinary environment and aim to design buildings that maximise value for our clients whilst minimising their environmental impact. -Provide leadership to the MEP team on a portfolio of projects locally, nationally and internationally, having the responsibility of ensuring correct technical approaches are applied to the project and are carried out appropriately to complete the tasks at hand. -Effectively oversee total project delivery by enabling effective team management and delegation to ensure the efficient and satisfactory delivery of multiple and complex projects, reporting to the Project Director. -Play a part in the ongoing digital transformation of our business, seeking new ways to increase our efficiency through automation and to offer new services to our clients through our integrated digital approach to design.

What You Bring

-Can demonstrate strong commercial awareness and a solid track record of delivering high-quality, technically excellent electrical designs & innovative solutions in the built environment. -Is a Chartered Engineer (or has aspirations to become Chartered via IET or CIBSE) with a strong background in electrical building services design. Proficient in designing electrical systems such as lighting, power, distribution, fire alarms, security and data/communications systems -Has strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with clients. Committed to professional development, including mentoring junior engineers and technicians, and passionate about sustainable building design and innovation -Is Familiar with working within a BIM environment using Revit. and electrical design tools (e.g., Amtech, Dialux, Relux) -Has proven experience managing and delivering design projects within a consultancy environment; values quality and enjoys delivering
