The Role

Overview

Lubricates and maintains shop equipment, performs preventive maintenance, and assists as needed.

Tasks

-Visualize, fulfill, and implement the company vision and core values. -Operate Forklift. -Ensure a safe and healthful work environment by keeping assigned area clean from trash and debris at all times. -Current employees are required to speak with their immediate manager before applying for any open positions.* -Maintain up to date lubrication and maintenance records. -Maintain insurable driving record. -Maintain tools as required to perform job. -Assist in the maintenance shops as needed. -Responsible to perform preventative maintenance, fuel, and oil equipment. -Perform parts inventory, and ordering duties.

What You Bring

-Ability to work well with others in a team environment -Brake Repair Training and Certification. -Physical Movement: May frequently be required to walk and work over uneven ground, balance, stoop/crouch, kneel, grab, drag, climb and hold objects. -Weight Lifted: Must frequently be able to lift and carry up to 50-70 pounds. Heavy items may be required to be lift above one's head and maneuvered while sitting, kneeling and laying down. For safety, assistance will be provided for heavy objects. -Ability to follow instructions -Ability to work long hours -Ability to move 50 pounds -High school diploma or general education degree (GED). -Basic knowledge of lubrication and construction equipment preferred -Sitting: 10% of time -Climbing: 20% - 30% of the time. This includes shop ladders, equipment access ladders, and climbing under equipment for maintenance. -Defensive Driving -Forklift Certification -Speaking / Listening: Needs to be able to communicate effectively with supervision, follow instructions, and understand safety requirements. Needs to be able to hear sounds and recognize difference between them as well as focus on one source of sound and ignore others. -Standing: 60% - 70% of time
