Tasks

-Prepares, submits and tracks tool crib/maintenance requisitions and ensures proper receiving of parts into Tool Crib by working with receiving suppliers for accurate description of parts -Moving machinery or moving objects on the production floor. -Will be responsible for administration of CMMS System & assist in setup/use of system at future date. -Maintains records and plans for preventive maintenance shutdown activities. -Assures accuracy spare parts inventory records. -Maintains tool crib area in an organized, orderly fashion -Maintains responsibility for inventory tracking -Negotiate with suppliers regarding the price and delivery of Repair & Maintenance Items. -Verifies and maintains accuracy of perpetual inventory records and Tool Crib inventory transactions. -Maintains records for machine data. -Generation of new part numbers for the Tool Crib -Prepare reports and make recommendations on reducing the total cost of maintenance. -Conducts weekly/monthly cycle counts -Actively participates during preventive maintenance shutdowns in areas where trained. -Assists in technical training of maintenance staff. -Identify and drive disposition of obsolete and slow-moving inventory.

What You Bring

-Must have 20/20 vision corrected in both eyes, to discern various color graphics and color matches. -Exposure to and use of sharp implements at times. -Possible exposure to noise levels over 90 decibels for 8 hours at certain locations. -Required to be in tight spaces on occasion and to heights daily. -Required to frequently ascend and descend up to three flights of stairs over extremely fast-moving machinery. -Exposure to hot and/or abrasive surfaces. -Exposure to chemicals which may cause eye or skin irritation and/or bums, and irritation to respiratory system. -M ust be able to lift to 35 pounds without assistance. -Must be qualified to operate powered industrial trucks and pass Forklift License Program. -Exposure to static electricity on occasion. -Required to safely access fast moving machinery which includes rolls with inward nip points. -Must be able to read, write and communicate in English -Exposure to outside elements on occasion. -High School Diploma Required -At least 2 years’ manufacturing experience. -Must be able to climb, bend, stoop and crawl.
