The Role

Overview

Lead and support supply management projects, focusing on continuous improvement and risk mitigation.

Tasks

-Proactively identify and manage project dependencies, deadlines, and changes in project scope -Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion -Establish controls and monitoring practices to monitor effectiveness of change arising from the execution of projects and strategic initiatives -Communicate changes and deliver training associated with process changes driven through the execution of projects and strategic initiatives -In conjunction with the Supply Management leadership team, work with team members and business stakeholders to develop and deliver projects and strategic initiatives, including those focused on supply chain resiliency, risk mitigation, and value creation -Develop and deliver progress reports, presentations and all other necessary project communication -Manage all aspects of work assignments in line with company policies and procedures

What You Bring

-Project Management, Change Management, or Process Improvement experience is considered an asset -Solid understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management practices -Detail oriented with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, changing environment -University Degree in Business, Law, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field of study -Self-starter with strong initiative and work ethic -Experienced in identifying, leading, influencing and delivering risk mitigation and continuous improvement initiatives in an organization -Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills -Minimum 5-10 years professional experience in positions with increasing accountability and responsibility -Demonstrated effective problem solving, analytical and communication skills -Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) designation would be an asset but is not required
