IT Project Manager

Tasks

-Oversee the planning, design, execution, and completion of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. -Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders. -Monitor project progress, identifying and mitigating risks to avoid project delays and cost overruns. -Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members throughout the project lifecycle. -Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for optimization. -Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to capture functional and technical requirements. -Facilitate meetings and ensure alignment across teams. -Create detailed workflow diagrams and process maps to visualize current and future states. -Facilitate problem-solving and decision-making processes to address project challenges. -Implement best practices and innovative solutions to improve project efficiency and outcomes. -Validate and document requirements, ensuring traceability throughout the project lifecycle. -Work internally across departments to document processes and procedures. -Mentor and develop junior project managers and project staff, promoting professional growth and development. -Monitor and report on project health, escalating issues, as necessary. -Lead post-project evaluations to assess project outcomes and identify areas for improvement. -Conduct regular site visits to ensure work is being completed according to project plans and quality standards. -Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets, and manage changes, as necessary. -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate representation of business processes. -Ensure deliverables meet defined quality standards and compliance requirements. -Apply methodologies to streamline workflows and reduce inefficiencies. -Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. -Ensure consistency and compliance with organizational standards and best practices. -Lead project teams, providing guidance and direction to ensure effective collaboration and productivity. -Manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring terms and conditions are met.

-Experience in change management, risk management and mitigation strategies. -Skills  – Exceptional written and oral communication skills. -Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate project teams. -Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. -Proven record of successfully managing large-scale technology projects. -Ability to work under pressure and oversee multiple projects simultaneously. -Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. -Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and project resources effectively. -Certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or the CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management ) . -Proven ability to solve problems, make decisions, and resolve conflicts. -Ability to view a computer for an extended period of time. -Education  Bachelor’s degree in business , Information Technology, or related field. -Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies. -Reliable with patience and professionalism. -Ability to sit for long periods of time. -Organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task. -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. -Highly organized and detail oriented. -8years of experience in project management or business analysis. -Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, or similar) and diagramming software (e.g., Visio). -Self-motivated and takes initiative. -Excellent communication and leadership skills.
