The Role
Overview
Full-time Class A CDL truck driver delivering cargo, loading/unloading, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities

Tasks
-Fill up on fuel, clean truck, and wash windows. -Follow all applicable traffic laws. -Follow accident procedures if an accident occurs. -Load and unload cargo. -Monitor road conditions and watch for traffic congestion. -Keep their truck, and associated equipment, clean and in good working order -Inspect their trailer before and after the trip and record any defects they find. -Report to a dispatcher any incidents encountered on the road. -Keep a log of their activities. -Take orders for new deliveries and drive long distances. -Report serious mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel.

What You Bring
-Must have a current state issued Class A CDL Driver's License. -Ability to prioritize, organize work, and meet deadlines. -3 years of commercial driving experience -Eyesight sufficient for operating a motor vehicle, inspection of equipment, and completion paperwork. -Mechanical and analytical skills preferred. -Ability to interpret, read manuals, and write reports in English. -Ability to work at heights and use all PPE required for fall protection correctly. -Ability to provide proper hand signals to crane and truck operators. -Bending, stooping, lifting, seeing hearing, walking, ability to lift 75 lbs., twisting, crawling, climbing, squatting, kneeling, sitting and standing. -Ability to employ physiological movements and actions associated with heavy work. -Record amount and type of cargo being delivered. -Ability to verbally communicate Safety issues to Customers and other workers on location before and during job task. -Hearing sufficient for telephone contact and interpersonal communication with Customers and coworkers.
