Tasks

-Identify all required permits for road crossings, foreign utility crossings, rail crossings, water crossings, and special/conditional use scenarios -Conduct in-depth research using online databases, courthouse records, and recorded documents to determine permitting requirements -Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to perform property research and maintain accurate mapping and data records -Apply knowledge of real property concepts and instruments to ensure compliance with permit-related regulations and documentation standards

-Works efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines -Can prioritize and balance multiple tasks -Demonstrates strong organization and planning skills -Can adapt to new systems and software environments -Minimum of two (2) years of Utility Permitting -Valid Driver’s License -Must be proficient with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook -Must have an iOS or Android smartphone to be able to access ORC's systems -Thrives in a fast-paced administrative setting -Provides strong customer service experience -Has excellent written and verbal communication skills -Is analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
