Tasks

The Principal Design Architect will lead the conceptualization, planning, and design of Arada’s developments to ensure design excellence and innovation across all projects. The role is responsible for driving the creative vision, ensuring design integrity, and aligning architectural outcomes with Arada’s brand and strategic objectives. -Collaborate with consultants, engineers, and contractors to maintain design quality and project feasibility. -Stay updated with global design trends, materials, and technologies to bring innovation into Arada’s developments. -Ensure that all designs reflect Arada’s vision, standards, and sustainability principles. -Review and approve architectural submissions, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with codes and internal guidelines. -Support the Design Director in strategic planning, design governance, and continuous improvement initiatives. -Provide creative direction, technical expertise, and leadership to internal and external design teams. -Lead the design process from concept to detailed design stages for mixed-use, residential, retail, and hospitality projects. -Mentor junior architects and contribute to building a high-performing, design-led culture.

What You Bring

-Exceptional design leadership and conceptualization skills. -Minimum 12–15 years of experience in architecture and design, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity. -Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution. -Strong presentation, visualization, and communication abilities. -Proficiency in design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. -Deep understanding of urban design principles, sustainability, and building technologies. -Strong exposure to the UAE or GCC real estate sector preferred. -Proven track record in leading design for large-scale mixed-use or high-end residential developments. -Professional architectural registration or equivalent certification preferred. -Strategic thinker with attention to detail and a passion for excellence in design. -Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain alignment between creative and commercial priorities.
