The Role
Overview
Design, develop, test, and maintain Salesforce/Microsoft software solutions for NYSERDA.

Tasks
-Maintains a high level of service by establishing and enforcing organization standards including secure coding practices, use of source control, and coding standards. -Maintains Users and proper security levels for all users. -Participates in daily standups to review work assignments and report on progress. -Investigates problem areas and fixes bugs in software. -Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; bench-marking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies. -Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code. -Helps to develop and implement training for users. -Develops information systems by designing, developing, and installing software solutions. -Provides help and support for internal and external users. -Overcome barriers to using clean energy at a large-scale in New York. -Participates in peer review of code developed by fellow engineers. -Enable New York’s communities and residents to benefit equitably in the clean energy transition. -Follows the software development lifecycle. -Develops test scripts and runs tests to verify deliverables meet the documented requirements before sending to QA. -Develops reports and dashboards. -Attract the private sector capital investment needed to expand New York’s clean energy economy.

What You Bring
-Associates degree and 5 years of relevant experience -Experience with programming languages such as C#, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, Java, Apex or the specific technology required by this position. -Experience in a DevOps or Continuous Integration / Continuous Development (CICD) environment. -Understanding of relational databases and data integration tools -Bachelor's degree and 6 years of relevant experience -Excellent communication and analytical skills -Experience with automated testing tools. -Experience with a ticketing system such as Jira. -Close attention to detail -Ability to read specifications and execute solutions that meet those specifications. -Relevant technical certifications in the technology stack in question.
