Tasks

-Develop and implement Health, Safety and Compliance strategy for Strategic Capex projects -Embed best-practice risk management throughout all project phases, benchmarking externally. -Lead major hazard management and ensure full compliance with CDM, COMAH and other relevant legislation. -Lead structured communication forums to ensure clear, consistent Health, Safety and Compliance updates. -Build and maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies (HSE, Competent Authority, EA). -Provide expert Health, Safety and Compliance guidance to project teams and act as the company's lead specialist on CDM. -Produce performance reports, oversee investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented. -Monitor compliance with Health, Safety and Compliance policies and standards, ensuring effective H&S management systems.

What You Bring

-Expert knowledge of Health, Safety and Compliance legislation, particularly CDM. -Proven ability to lead cultural change and influence at all levels. -Senior leadership experience within major plant or large asset-based settings. -Extensive experience leading Health, Safety and Compliance in large, complex Civil, Industrial or Construction projects. -Degree-level education and professional H&S qualifications; chartered membership essential. -Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and major industrial environments.
