The Role
Overview
Assemble and install vehicle components using hand tools per drawings and safety standards.

Tasks
-Follow established safety, environmental and quality policies -Support APS (Altec Production System) initiatives. May participate in training events -Support production teams through training -Adhere to Altec’s attendance policy -Read production drawings and work orders to understand customer requirements -Learn and operate all equipment within the work area (cell) -Complete other job duties as assigned: Test installed components, perform rework as required -Move to other work areas to support production needs (cross train) -Install aerial device vehicle components and accessories -Maintain work area, shop tools, and equipment

What You Bring
-Properly use and care of Altec provided PPE -have the ability to read, write, and comprehend. -Use basic hand tools such as tape measures, drills, wrenches, ratchets, etc. -have basic computer usage knowledge. -currently obtain ability to read tape measures, blueprints, and schematics. -be able to provide a high school diploma/GED.
