Overview

Manage cost control, forecasting and risk for water infrastructure projects.

Tasks

-Maintain, monitor and improve the systems which will ensure costs and forecasts are accurately known and controlled. The Cost Controller will also support the teams to accurately maintain the project cost planning process. -Support development of standard cost control procedures, guidelines, templates, coding etc. to allow consistent cost management and reporting across the cost control team and support compliance to the standards. -Assist collation of portfolio commercial risk monthly review processes including tracking drawdown & reassessing risk status and modelling. -Support Project Managers with progress claim assessment, pricing schedule -Utilise standard cost control procedures and processes including monthly report, change control, management of budgets, forecasting, financial support relating to contract administration and project cost close out to help ensure a consistent approach across a portfolio of projects. -Understand and manage supplier commercial terms including verifying and checking of invoices and claims for suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded

What You Bring

-Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office Package. -Previous exposure to Civil infrastructure highly regarded -Experience analysing high volume data sets -Relevant tertiary qualifications in Finance, Construction Management or similar
