Project Environmental Scientist/Hydrogeologist

Overview

Conduct field and office environmental/hydrogeology investigations and reporting.

Tasks

-Assist with conducting surface water and groundwater field data acquisition and statistical analysis -Conduct field investigations -Prepare permit submittals to regulatory agencies -Assist in the development of environmental review documentation -Environmental sampling of surface water, groundwater, and soil -Manage drilling contractors, well construction and hydrogeologic investigations -Prepare sampling plans and collect field sampling data (soil, sediment, groundwater, and surface water quantity and quality) -Identify and proactively communicate opportunities to address client issues, solve problems, and improve operations -Research, compile, analyze, and interpret environmental data using Equis and other similar tools -Assist in preparing regulatory compliance plans and reports

What You Bring

-5+ years of experience with an environmental consulting firm -Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills -GIT, EIT, or other related certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire -Prior experience with geologic visualization software like Leapfrog or similar tools -Master's of Science in hydrogeology or water resources -PG, PE or CPG -Previous experience with the following: -Demonstrated experience preparing technical reports and environmental documentation -Bachelor’s Degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Science, Civil, Geotechnical, or Environmental Engineering, or related field -Demonstrated experience in planning and leading hydrogeologic field studies -Environmental statistical analysis -Hydrologic modeling and GIS software
