Our Field Technicians are the backbone of our installation operations and a key part of every homeowner’s experience. You’ll visit customer homes to perform precise measurements, ensure installation accuracy, complete service appointments, and deliver a seamless experience from start to finish. Your attention to detail and customer focus will help bring our promise of turning a “house into a dream home” to life.Core Role Responsibilities: Visit residential homes to measure windows, doors, and sliding glass doors with a high level of accuracy and precisionVerify orders meet all pre- and post-installation specifications and compliance requirementsReview project details and service expectations directly with customersProvide detailed estimates to internal stakeholders for services, labor, and materials needed Identify potential roadblocks that could impact job quality, timelines, or customer expectations and recommend solutions Complete on-site service appointments, including repairs and adjustments Maintain company assets in excellent working order (parts inventory, tools, equipment)Stay current and proficient with our products, installation techniques, and service standardsSafely operate ladders, equipment, and tools by adhering to EPA and safety regulationsBasic Qualifications:High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent3+ years professional experience installing or repairing windows, roofing, siding, or related home improvement projectsValid drivers license with a clean driving recordNote: This position involves operating a company vehicle. Candidates must meet Window Nation’s driving and insurance standards. Driving records will be verified before hire, and periodically thereafter, in accordance with state laws and company policy.Preferred Qualifications:Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)Experience using CRM or job management systems (SalesForce, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar)Comfortable using and navigating digital tools and iPad applications in the fieldKnowledge of local permitting, licensing, or HOA requirementsAbility to safely operate ladders and hand tools and meet the physical demands of the roleStrong customer service mindset with a focus on quality, professionalism, and safetyExcellent time management and project coordination skills Detail-oriented with a “get it right the first time” mentality and a strong sense of urgency
