The Role
Overview
Maintain and repair production equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.

Tasks
-Performs maintenance activities in a timely manner to ensure continuous operations -Performs equipment repairs, routine PM activities, and equipment modifications -Maintains area housekeeping to ensure a safe workplace and follows all safety regulations and policies -Assesses safety conditions and implements preventive or corrective measures to ensure safe work-related activities -Interacts with other mechanics to share maintenance knowledge -Reads and interprets mechanical drawings -Operates forklifts, aerial lifts, and overhead hoists

What You Bring
-Able to work 12 hour rotating shifts -Strong verbal and written communication skills -Possesses fundamental understanding of rigging and lifting equipment -Associate degree in an Industrial Maintenance Program, Mechatronics, or an equivalent Maintenance Mechanical Training Program preferred -Understands basic function and operation of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical equipment -High School diploma or GED -Problem Solving -Understands basic lubrication principles -Organization and ability to develop work scopes and planning skills -Ability to troubleshoot to solve problems -Strong mechanical maintenance knowledge -Understands shaft alignment principles -Understands how to use basic hand tools -Mechanical Aptitude -Must be willing to work rotating 4 days on – 4 days off -Experience level: minimum 3+ years maintenance experience -Understands how to drill and tap various metals -Must be willing to work overtime and accept call-in requests when required -Must be willing to work in all areas of the plant and in various environments (heat, cold, heights, confined spaces) -Basic MS Office and SAP knowledge is a plus
