-Involvement with technical rescue services. -Involved with execution of chemical and petroleum transfers including materials handling. -Involvement with HAZMAT Emergency Response and responding to spills. -Involvement with transloading of railcars (Both liquid and solid products)

What You Bring

-Fully engaged with decontamination projects under direction of project leader. -Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot. -Meticulous, organized and motivated -High level of effective communication and transparency. -Ability to collaborate efficiently within a team setting. -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment -A valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving abstract is required; valid Class 1 or 3 driver’s license would be considered an asset. -Knowledge and/or experience with vacuum trucks and power washing equipment would be an asset. -Fully engaged as an entrant, man watch, or rescue attendant for Confined Space Entry projects inclusive of tank cleanings. -Ability to take directions and follow through on instructions. -Excellent organizational skills. -Ability to be flexible with their schedule and work extended hours as needed; and meet the travel requirements of this position. -Physically fit and able to wear chemical protective clothing and respiratory protection from time to time as required. -Mechanically inclined. -Willingness to lead by example and work safely, ensuring compliance with all GFL’s policies and procedures. -Affiliation and involvement with various divisions, and various work types throughout the company. -Able to work long hours -Able to work out of town from time to time
