Overview

Lead Field Project Engineer managing technical issues and project coordination for rotating equipment.

Tasks

-Engineering Lessons Learnt management, Root Cause Analysis and assist in defining & implementing Corrective & Preventive action plan. -Coordinate engineering modifications required in field, Execute any additional requests/Change orders with customers. -Being the Technical reference point to site team & customers managing the scope of the assigned Projects in order to promptly resolve any technical issues reported from Projects. -Assisting in troubleshooting issues of various products like Aeroderivative Gas turbines, Electric Motor driven Centrifugal and Reciprocating compressors, Gearboxes and Auxiliary systems. -Leading and managing Quality Processes, assist in preparation of critical site milestones and KPIs. -Coordinating and communicating with customer representatives, vendors, multi-functional and Global teams, fulfilling customized evaluations and optimization studies.

What You Bring

-Have experience in interpreting Engineering & Technical documents like Process & instrument diagrams (P&ID), Wiring diagrams etc.. -Minimum 3 years’ experience in Project Engineering/Management handling large Projects. -Engage proactively, ability to influence others and lead small teams. -Document management, Non-Conformity Management, FMEA preparation and execution. -Being available to travel to sites locations as per requirement to assist in data collection, interact with site team and customer for critical issues resolution. -Have a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics/Electrical or equivalent Engineering degree from an accredited college or university. -Fluency in English with excellent communication and presentation skills. -Ability to interpret the Control logics and troubleshoot Operational issues of the Systems. -Knowledge on any of the Baker Hughes or equivalent OEM Products or Technologies such as Aeroderivative Gas Turbines or Motor driven Centrifugal compressors. -Passionate and enthusiastic to work in fast paced, challenging and dynamic environment. -Have minimum 7 years of Technical experience on Control systems and Rotating machinery working at Project sites. -Flexibility to travel to different sites. -Requires knowledge and hand-on experience on Control Systems like MarkVIe, MarkVIeS SIL System, Proficy Machine Edition, PLCs, DCS etc..
