Tasks
-Manage deadlines and ensure appropriate communication is provided (to relevant parties) when schedule conflicts arise. -Issuing PO’s, contracts or change orders using Procurement Systems -Stakeholder & Relationship Management: Foster and maintain collaborative relationships with the Project Co and supply chain partners, ensuring transparent communication and mutual accountability to support project success. -Typically responsible for large, complex supply and installation as well as service packages and large fabrication orders. -Issue Resolution: Collaborate effectively with Project Co and suppliers to proactively address and resolve procurement or subcontractor-related issues, mitigating risks and preventing potential project delays. -Supplier Negotiation: Conduct detailed reviews of supplier pricing, contractual terms, and delivery schedules to ensure alignment with project contract requirements, value-for-money principles, and critical timelines. -Issue RFP’s -Bid package preparation, issue to market and expediting -Responsible for tasks varying in nature and urgency, such as: -Contract Administration: Oversee the evaluation and management of contracts, change orders, and submittals, ensuring all procurement processes are compliant with project scope and specifications. -Mentor to junior procurement analysts. -Administer and electronically distribute specified reports to Client and/or other staff members.

What You Bring
-Proficient in the English language (Reading, writing, and speaking) -8 – 11 years of construction industry experience preferred -Project Delivery Expertise: Demonstrated strong understanding of project design and construction processes, ensuring successful outcomes by effectively balancing procurement and subcontracting strategies with cost control, scheduling priorities, and value-for-money principles. -Multidisciplinary Leadership: Proven ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, driving alignment across engineering, procurement, and construction disciplines to consistently achieve project milestones and key deliverables. -Degree, diploma or certificate in Supply Chain Management or other applicable area -Experience in SAP is an asset. -Proficient in MS word, excel spreadsheets, outlook, database, and word processing software. -Expected to work with all levels of the organization in a cohesive manner. -Previous experience in an EPCM environment with a focus on transit, Infrastructure, Mining, Oil&Gas and design build projects, is an asset.
