The Role

Overview

Assist Facility Manager in daily ops, maintenance, compliance, budgeting, vendor management.

Tasks

-Ensure all invoices are received on a regular basis and confirm invoices match contract pricing. -Support and coordinate audits, inspections, and risk assessments. -Ensure adequacy of spares and stocks; manage inventory records. -Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, company policies, and safety procedures. -Prepares budgets, financial reports, contracts, expenditures and purchase orders related to the facility. -Monitor utilities consumption and support cost-saving initiatives. -Ensure the day-to-day operations of the facility, including janitorial, life-safety, engineering, site services, and general maintenance are implemented and carried out in a manner consistent with company policies and client directives. -Perform Company Emergency Response Team (CERT). -Compile information necessary to ensure all site-specific documentation and reports are completed accurately and on time.

What You Bring

-Possess BizSafe Level 2 certification. -Polytechnic Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, or related engineering discipline. -Expected to be familiar with the management contract, vendor agreements, and other building/facility contracts and all requirements contained therein. -Literacy in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) -A minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience, preferably in commercial or industrial real estate with facility management experience required -Knowledge in Building Management Systems (BMS) -Possess Manage Work at Height (MWAH) certification. -Ability to read and understand technical specifications and blueprints -Proficient in contract language -Knowledge of financial management including financial tracking, budgeting and forecasting
