The Role

Overview

Tasks

-Prepare and manage property budgets, controlling expenses and conducting regular financial analysis and reporting. -Foster positive and productive relationships with tenants, addressing concerns and inquiries promptly and effectively. -Analyze financial performance, forecast requirements, and track expenses to maximize profitability. -Oversee rent collection, renewals, and expenses, often utilizing digital accounting and reporting tools. -Address owner concerns and inquiries promptly and effectively. Collaborate with clients to develop and implement property management plans and strategies to maximize property value and achieve financial objectives. -Provide superior customer service to residents and prospects to enhance satisfaction and increase renewals. -Conduct regular property inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with regulations. -Oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned residential or commercial properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and run efficiently. -Supervise all operational aspects, including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, and forecasting. -Serve as the primary point of contact for property owners and asset managers, providing consistent communication and reporting on property performance and issues. -Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with landlords and investors through transparent reporting and value-added insights. -Handle contract bidding, vendor selection, and relationship management for quality services at competitive rates.

What You Bring

-Extensive organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset. -Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems. -Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets with impacts on own job discipline, multiple job disciplines, and department. -Knowledge of relevant property laws and regulations. -Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5 - 8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. -Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio) and MS Office.
