Assist transformer repairs, handle materials, operate equipment, support shipping/receiving.

Tasks

-Maintain clean and organized work areas, dispose of garbage/recycling in accordance with local environmental standards. -Label and store dismantled materials accurately. -Pick up and deliver materials and equipment using shop truck. -Contribute to safety and quality improvements by identifying and addressing issues within the scope of the role. -Perform basic mechanical and logistical tasks, following predetermined procedures. -Monitor dry air pressure on stored units. -Support continuous improvements initiatives within the facility. -Assist with transformer repair operations, under the direction of the supervisor or other repairmen. -Operate forklifts and cranes when required. -Support shipping and receiving when needed.

What You Bring

-Experience in a semi-skilled trade. -Comfortable with physical tasks like lifting, bending, pushing & pulling. -Able to read drawings and bills of material. -Ability to work in a team environment -Basic computer skills, including MS Word and Excel. -Experience with ERP systems like SAP. -High school diploma. -WAH training, forklift license, MEWP licensed an asset
