Tasks

-Organize and coordinate all technical and administrative aspects of projects and programs, including scheduling, budgeting, cost control, QA/QC, document management, and information systems. -Use advanced planning tools and software to model and visualize infrastructure concepts. -Prepare a variety of planning studies, including master plans, system plans, feasibility/ conceptual siting, risk assessments, and cost analyses for proposed projects. -Compile data, track KPIs and conduct research to support project delivery. -Support project managers and subject matter experts in developing project documentation and leading efforts associated with scopes and fees, reports, graphics, 3D models, and materials for community outreach/stakeholder engagement/charrette/workshop participation. -Contribute to spaceport and airport development studies through planning support, AutoCAD drafting, GIS analysis, design data compilation, CIP development, and other tasks with minimal supervision. -Build strong relationships with community leaders, launch providers, and public agencies to foster support and address concerns. -Ensure plans comply with regulatory requirements at the local, state, and federal levels. -Deliver clear, data-driven reports and presentations to leadership and stakeholders. -Bring a space enthusiast’s perspective to aerospace-related projects, with a strong interest in spaceport development and emerging space technologies. -Assess infrastructure needs for aerospace operations and spaceport development to create integrated plans for manufacturing, utilities, launch complexes, processing facilities, aviation facilities, and support infrastructure. -Monitor project milestones and adjust plans to maintain schedule and budget compliance.

What You Bring

-Proficient and experienced in planning analytical and problem-solving skills. -Experience with ArcGIS and AutoCAD. -4 years of experience in infrastructure planning, in the aerospace or transportation sectors associated with spaceport, airport, NASA, FDOT or United States Air/Space Force or related field or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. -Strong written and oral communication skills. -Valid US Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review. -Confident with public speaking. -Bachelor’s degree in Planning, Urban Planning, Aviation Management or related field. -US citizenship is required due to the nature of the work. -Communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with multiple teams. -Excellent communication skills including graphic, verbal and written between project team, clients, vendors, and contractors. -Proficient and experienced in planning and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ArcGIS). -Experience working on planning projects associated with Federal Aviation Administration, FL Department of Transportation, DoD/military Aviation Planning. -Proficient and experienced with the understanding of aviation regulations and environmental impacts.
