Tasks
-Monitor and evaluate the performance of technology applications and recommend improvements. -Conduct research and analysis on emerging technologies relevant to turbine repair and manufacturing. -Uphold conformity with safety and quality criteria for every technology application. -Provide technical support and training to staff on new technologies and applications. -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technological needs and opportunities for innovation, particularly in AI, automation, robotics, and programming. -Assist in the development of technical documentation and training materials. -Develop and implement technology solutions to improve blades and vane repair and new parts production processes.

-Solid understanding of advanced manufacturing processes such as diffusion bonding, machining, welding, assembly processes, and rotating equipment technology. -Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers. -Leadership and people management experience for at least 5 years, ideally within design or manufacturing roles. -Sound grasp of gas turbine components including Blades, Vanes, Ring Segments, and Combustors. -Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 10 or more years of related work experience in design and product development and 5 or more years in advanced manufacturing environments.
