Tasks

-Develop, together with Scout IT and VW Group IT, the IT Logistic Concept for Production Steering, Material Planning, Inbound, Inhouse and Outbound Logistics operations considering the Brand specificities and VW Group standards -Collaborate with IT Department to establish all levels of System Support Organization in case of system problems -Define User Manual and Emergency Concept for each implemented IT System and qualify own personnel and key users -Define and carry out IT System User Test to prove the Systems functionalities before the planned Go-Live -Support own process control through planning and implementing KPIs with clear responsibility and coordinate problem solving activities in case of deviance from the defined targets -Support the IT Department during the system implementation phase. Define requirements and lead the necessary activities within the Logistics Department -The responsibilities of this role require attendance in office with in-person meetings and events regularly. -Collaborate with the business areas to establish a Key-User Organization

-Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time. -Proven experience in the implementation or maintaining of SAP systems and MES systems -Excellent communication skills and the ability to find accepted solutions across departments -Creative, collaborative and open mindset and drive to think out of the box -Residing in San Francisco: Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, Scout Motors will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. -7+ years of professional experience in Logistics or IT Department, ideally in the automotive industry -Residing in New York City: This role is not eligible for remote work in New York City. -Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously -Strong understanding of Production environment and affinity to work with complex IT-Systems -Experience in the design of cross- departmental information flows -Bachelor's/Master's degree in system engineering, information process planning, or related fields; candidates with 10 or more years of directly related professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. -Residing in Los Angeles: Scout Motors will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance. -Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and endurance
