Tasks

-Collaborate in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment, working closely with design, fabrication, assembly, and other key functions. -Execute trade studies to evaluate design solutions and select the most weight-efficient concepts that meet requirements. -Apply first principle approaches with a solid understanding of metallic and composite structures. -Develop structural load paths for early conceptual designs to meet high-level requirements.

What You Bring

-Expertise in damage tolerance and static analysis. -Experience with conceptual design first principles analysis approaches for primary composite structures. -Skills in developing simple working FEMs for conceptual design work to validate design principles. -Experience in mechanical engineering and aerospace. -Ability to create and execute Detail Finite Element Models (DFEM). -Knowledge of primary structures and materials such as metallics, composites, GFEM, and DFEM. -Proficiency in Catia V5 and above. -Familiarity with various composite structures' failure modes and limitations. -Experience in creating and managing Global Finite Element Models (GFEM) for team use. -Experience with Boeing and OEM tools. -Experience in stress and structural analysis, including finite element analysis (FEM).
