The Role

Overview

Perform routine maintenance and operate heavy equipment at an aggregate plant.

Tasks

-Lubrication of all plant and fleet equipment – requires lifting of grease/lubrication containers (approximately 50 lbs.) Adding vital fluids to all reservoirs and noting any additions on daily equipment sheets. -Replacement of machine parts weighing as much as several hundred pounds. -Perform pre startup inspections of assigned equipment. This may require the climbing up, over, and or on top of assigned equipment. -access or use the online application process and need an alternative method for applying -complete any part of the application process -Operate various pieces of equipment

What You Bring

-Ability to work in heights and sometimes tight spaces -Ability to lift 50 pounds from the ground to the waist -Capable of working outdoors year round -Ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl -1-2 year’s industry experience (useful but not necessary) -Ability to work in high and sometimes confined spaces -Ability to sit or stand for hours at a time -Willingness to work weekends and long hours during peak season -High School Graduate or GED -Knowledge of welding, cutting, and fabrication (useful but not necessary) -Willingness to learn, take direction and follow safe work procedures -Mechanical proficiency (useful but not necessary)
