Senior Engineer - Structural

Overview

Lead bridge & underpass construction supervision in Dubai, ensuring RTA compliance and QA/QC.

Tasks

-Prepare and present technical reports and recommendations to clients and stakeholders -Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and are completed within budget and schedule constraints -Coordinate with the project managers to resolve technical issues and optimize solutions -Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in bridge and underpass engineering -Supervise and mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative work environment -Conduct site visits to assess construction progress and address any structural concerns -Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of structural elements with other project components -Follow up set inspection for installations and review inspector’s performance on a regular basis.

What You Bring

-Middle East or UAE/Dubai experience preferred -Comprehensive knowledge of RTA specifications -Familiarity with local construction practices and regulations in the UAE -Familiar with the Construction of Box Girder Bridges in UAE/ Dubai -Demonstrated experience in developing QA/QC procedures for inspections and test plans -Excellent project management skills, including the ability to lead a small team -Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams -Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering; advanced degree preferred -Minimum of 12 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on bridges and underpasses (Cut & Cover) -Comprehensive knowledge of RTA specifications and familiarity with Construction of Box Girder Bridges in UAE/Dubai -Strong understanding of international bridge design codes and standards -RTA Pre-Approval is highly desirable -Professional engineering license or equivalent certification is a plus -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail
