Tasks

-Other activities may include assisting with calculations, setting up and operating equipment, inspecting equipment and installations for compliance with specifications and maintaining proper project documentation. -Performs a variety of tasks in support of project staff. -May gather and maintain specified records of scientific data for supervisor, including but not limited to environmental sampling, operations and maintenance and inspections at client sites. -Collects and enters data and applies technical principles and theories under supervision.

What You Bring

-Valid Driver's License with a good driving record as travel will be required for this role. -Completion of an archaeological field school is highly desired. -Experience with Geospatial technology including GPS and GIS. -3+ years of experience with a wide range of field methodologies, including archaeological survey, testing, excavation, and monitoring. -High School graduate + 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education in archaeological fieldwork. -Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology, Archaeology, or related field. -Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required. -Computer proficiency including familiarity with Microsoft Office.
