As a Product Owner you will lead the development and enhancement of the company’s proprietary asset tracking and billing systems. You will define business requirements and work closely with Commercial, Finance, and IT teams to ensure technology solutions meet operational needs and strategic objectives.

This is a senior and high-visibility role, responsible for shaping future operational systems and ensuring products deliver measurable value to both the business and its customers. You’ll bring strong analytical skills, stakeholder management experience, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

  • Monitor product performance, gather feedback, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop long-term product roadmaps reflecting market trends and emerging technologies.
  • Lead Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and manage a detailed product backlog.
  • Drive business transformation by analysing processes and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, data protection, and regulatory standards.
  • Define and own the product vision in alignment with business goals and transformation initiatives.
  • Oversee rollout plans, including user training and implementation support.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to refine product strategies.
  • Represent business users, ensuring their needs and benefits are central to product decisions.

Technical & Behavioural Skills

  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Degree or professional qualification in business analysis (Desirable).
  • PowerApps or similar low-code platforms (Desirable).
  • Flexible, detail-oriented, and able to prioritise under pressure.
  • Strong stakeholder management and business analysis skills.
  • Proven experience in change or transformation roles within large or complex projects.
  • Understanding of data security and confidentiality practices.
  • SQL Server Management Studio
  • Familiarity with data analysis, business process modelling, and UAT.
  • High level of accuracy and commitment to quality outcomes.
  • Knowledge of the UK energy industry (Desirable).
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in Agile environments and using tools such as Microsoft DevOps.
  • Ability to manage workload independently and work effectively in cross-functional teams.
