Tasks

-Project Management: Support others by carrying out a range of project management activities. -Technical Developments Recommendation: Research and suggest technical developments to improve the quality of the website/portal/software and supporting infrastructure to better meet users’ needs. -Client & Customer Management (External): Help senior colleagues manage client and customer relationships by using relevant sales or client systems. -Data Collection and Analysis: Collate and analyze data using preset tools, methods, and formats. Involves working independently. -Engineering Solutions Design: Contribute to the development of, and implement feasibility testing of, proposed engineering solutions to provide feedback and data to validate the design. -Research: Carry out a range of research activities either to support others or to fulfill the requirements of the role. -Engineering Drawings: Create engineering drawings to support the communication, evaluation, and implementation of engineering solutions. -Monitor Construction Works: Help monitor and oversee the delivery of works to ensure that construction, maintenance, or improvement works are delivered in accordance with quality, cost, and time requirements. -Technical Troubleshooting: Support technical troubleshooting efforts, aiding in the quick and accurate identification, analysis, and resolution of technical issues with equipment and experiments. -Testing: Use product specifications to design test procedures and standards. -Personal Capability Building: Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching. Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media. -Engineering Standards Specification: Carry out a range of activities under the guidance of more senior colleagues to support the drafting of engineering standards and specifications and the evaluation of the effectiveness of those standards.

What You Bring

-Knowledge of modeling and design software as applicable -Working knowledge of AutoCAD; Revit knowledge a plus -Engineering In Training (EIT) certification preferred -Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering; Master’s Degree is a plus -0-2 years of structural engineering experience; internship experience is a plus
