Tasks

Ensure that Health & Safety, Environment & Quality (SHEQ) is considered during the development and implementation of strategies, projects, standards and processes and never compromised at any stage. Take an active leadership approach to balance an acceptable risk with an acceptable cost; implement timely and appropriate mitigation strategies where required. As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll lead and own a group of projects and develop delivery strategies before presenting and obtaining client approval through to handover. You’ll oversee the design, construction, commissioning and after care of all projects to agreed handover timeframes and standards in a fast paced, demanding yet highly rewarding environment. Establish a commercial strategy (including procurement) for the optimum delivery of a portfolio of work. Lead on proactive, engaging and transparent stakeholder management which champions collaboration and professional challenge to achieve desired outcomes for all parties. Create, develop and sustain a high performing team where you coach and train individuals to meet career aspirations and enhance team and organisational output and capabilities. Ensure the team follow the appropriate Governance processes and procedures in order to appropriately establish, manage and control projects. What You Bring

Accustomed to and comfortable with managing teams and a range of demanding stakeholders, you’ll have experience of working in commercial Alliances and understand the importance of collaboration to achieve success. To join the team in the highly involved and pivotal role, you’ll hold an APMP or equivalent (Practitioner level) qualification and have significant experience at Project Manager and Lead Project Manager level (equivalent to Senior PM/ Project Director) . Due to the nature of this role, you'll need experience on schemes between £100m and £175m in value. We are looking to strengthen our Delivery team with Senior Project Managers based in the Anglian Water region with hybrid working available.
