Tasks

-Drive a data-driven culture by implementing systems and analytics that enable visibility into operational performance at the asset, regional, and portfolio levels. -Serve as the senior-most executive responsible for property operations, reporting directly to the CEO and serving on the Leadership Team. -Ensure organizational alignment and collaboration across property management, construction, leasing, and asset management teams. -Create, implement, and continuously refine strategies for asset management, property management, leasing, construction, and maintenance to maximize portfolio performance and investor returns. -Champion professional development, performance management, and succession planning within property operations. -Analyze operational data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges that impact portfolio performance. -Build a high-performance culture centered on accountability, transparency, and excellence. -Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing property management, asset management and construction teams. -Identify, develop, and implement scalable systems, processes, and performance metrics to support BKM’s goal of doubling its AUM and employee base. -Directly manage and mentor senior leaders in Property Management, Asset Management and Leasing, and Construction & Development. -Ensure regular reporting to the CEO, investment committee, and key stakeholders regarding portfolio performance, operational efficiency, and tenant satisfaction. -Champion innovation in property operations, tenant experience, and construction execution. -Support recruitment, development, and retention of top talent across operational teams. -Provide executive oversight for the day-to-day operations of the firm’s national industrial portfolio, ensuring execution of key performance indicators (KPIs), value creation plans, and operational benchmarks. -Evaluate capital improvement plans, leasing strategies, and construction timelines for efficiency and ROI optimization. -Ensure investor confidence by maintaining fiduciary responsibility and operational transparency. -Translate company vision, growth targets, and investment objectives into actionable business and operational plans across all regions. -Collaborate with Finance and Executive Leadership to develop and manage operating budgets, forecasts, and performance targets. -Develop and execute portfolio-wide strategies to maximize asset value, optimize leasing, and manage expenses. -Develop and track operational KPIs and metrics across property, asset, and construction management functions. -Leverage data analytics and technology to streamline operations, drive insights, and support real-time decision-making. -Drive the execution of standardized operational procedures across all field offices, ensuring consistency, accountability, and continuous improvement. -Ensure compliance with operational policies, procedures, and industry regulations. -Foster cross-departmental collaboration to ensure seamless execution and communication between teams.

What You Bring

-Strong financial acumen with deep knowledge of real estate underwriting, valuations, and portfolio analysis. -Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. -Bachelor’s degree in real estate, business, finance, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. -15+ years of progressive leadership experience in commercial real estate, with expertise in asset management, property management, leasing, and construction. -Proven success leading multi-regional teams and scaling operations to support rapid growth. -Experience in construction management, including oversight of capital improvement and development projects.
