The Role

Overview

Deliver hydrological data, analysis and reporting for water resource management.

Tasks

-Work closely with other team members to deliver hydrological analysis and interpretation across the full flow range from drought to flood. -Using basic statistics and graphics to determine trends and relationships in numerical data. -Provide hydrological data, information and support for both internal and external stakeholders. -Assist with providing technical information to others who are working with communities and partners to protect and enhance the water environment, having to target your communications to meet varying levels of technical capability. -Assist with monitoring, reporting and analysing the state of the hydrological environment. This will include the production of regular water situation summaries and ad hoc reports. -Participate in monitoring catchment response, to enable us to give the appropriate considerations for permitting and contribute to the management of water resources. -Contribute to maintaining our hydrometric data quality, working with others in the team to improve our hydrological data. This will help with meeting several key performance indicators. -Support our contribution to incident response ensuring that we provide timely, accurate, and comprehensible analysis and interpretation of catchment response.
