The Role

Overview

Design and support water resources projects using Civil 3D and GIS.

Tasks

-Prepare design computations and quantity estimates under the supervision of a licensed engineer. -Effectively use AutoCAD Civil 3D to design various project features and ArcGIS for watershed planning. -Assist in client contact and communications. -Interface with CAD and GIS designers and coordinate with other engineering departments on complex multi-discipline projects. -May include onsite construction observation and other field work duties including surveying, stream assessments, and wetland delineations. -Assist in preparation of reports, specifications, plan creation, and permit applications.

What You Bring

-Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks. -Valid Driver’s License and in good standing with periodic travel necessary -Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Biosystems Engineering, or Agricultural Engineering. -Strong written and verbal communication skills. -Positive attitude under pressure, strong team player, responsible, and self-motivated. -Must be authorized to work in the United States permanently without the requirement of sponsorship at any point in the future. Sponsorship is not available for this position. -Superior problem solving and analytical skills. -0-3 years of experience in Civil Engineering -Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Autocad Civil 3D, ArcGIS, or hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software. -Solid critical thinking skills, along with attention to detail.
