Lead mechanical design team for UK infrastructure projects
-Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions. -Manage a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels. -Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes. -Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals. -Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.
-Strong understanding of legislation such as CDM and ATEX. -Experience in design delivery, including multidisciplinary design. -Sound knowledge in mechanical equipment, such as pumps, blowers, screens and chemical dosing plant as well as an in-depth understanding of current UK design standards and working practices. -Chartered Mechanical Engineer.
