What you would be doing
purchase order issuance
pricing negotiation
quantity take-offs
building estimating
stakeholder communication
contract plan review
  • Compile and issue purchase orders
  • Analyse, negotiate and revise inclusions with trade and contractor pricing
  • Complete small take offs and collate tender pricing
  • Ensure the efficient and accurate production of building estimates
  • Perform estimating associated administrative duties
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Complete quantity take-offs for building materials & labour
  • Check contract plans for accuracy prior to release for construction

  • Proficiency with Databuild and PlanSwift
  • Experience working on Medium-Density projects (Townhouses) Demonstrated experience as an estimator within residential construction (volume experience suitable)
  • Ability to prioritise work, manage timeframes and hit deadlines
  • Strong communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of the construction process and industry standards
