Tasks

-Generating daily, weekly, and monthly reports via automation related to commercial activity, financial and managerial performance, asset reporting, and operational performance. -Supporting departmental initiatives by contributing to project requirements, tracking the status of ongoing projects, and performing UAT. -Analyzing market data from multiple sources including power markets, operational telemetry, commodity markets, and energy trading platforms. -Providing subject matter expertise in cross functional projects, performing ad hoc analysis and reporting. -Maintaining ongoing shadow settlement and P&L reports for current ERCOT operations, with additional RTO/ISO markets likely to be added in the future. -Developing, maintaining, and enhancing automated reporting tools and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders. -Monitoring and documenting market changes affecting settlement processes, and implementing necessary updates to relevant files.

What You Bring

-3+ years using SQL and writing advanced queries, with an understanding of adjacent concepts such as data warehousing, ETL processes, data visualization, and the software development lifecycle. -Experience using Python to develop automation processes or projects beyond basic standard reporting -Energy experience: wholesale energy markets (ERCOT, PJM, MISO, etc.), or development/management of renewable generation projects or energy infrastructure. -Exceptional attention to detail, adaptability, and commitment to continuous improvement. -Professional experience in product/project management, or as a business analyst preferably in the front/middle office or supporting department (e.g. IT, accounting, operations, etc.). -Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders both inside and outside the organization. -Bachelor's degree in analytics, finance, engineering, or other related fields. An advanced degree is a plus.
