Manage supplier ledger accounts, reconcile payments, and resolve AP issues.

Tasks

-Respond to supplier queries, including liaising with branches and/or suppliers to resolve issues. -Reconcile key supplier accounts (including Caterpillar) and follow up on any exceptions. -Craft payment proposals for the assigned ledger group for review and batch media creation (merge) by the Accounts Payable Supervisor. -Assist Accounts Payable Analysts with resolving PO matching exceptions and liaise with business owners accordingly. -Work with suppliers and business partners to ensure adherence to Finning’s purchase order and payment processes, raising issues with the Accounts Payable Supervisor as needed. -Prepare quarterly statement reconciliations for key supplier accounts and submit them to the Accounts Payable Supervisor for review and sign-off.

What You Bring

-Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with suppliers and internal stakeholders. -Ability to resolve issues related to purchase orders and payments efficiently. -Strong ability to analyse financial data and identify discrepancies. -Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. -Ability to work effectively within a team and collaborate with various departments. -Ability to accurately process and reconcile financial transactions.
