The Role

Overview

Provide admin and field support to ensure Aboriginal heritage and native title compliance.

Tasks

-Coordinate and facilitate meetings with key internal and external stakeholders -Respond to queries and undertaking screening in relation to Native Title and Aboriginal Heritage impacts, processes, policy and statutory obligations -Assist the Aboriginal Heritage and Native Title Lead Team in administration and organisation of the business unit -Assist with field and site visits to assess potential risk/impact to Aboriginal heritage. -Support the business to obtain statutory approvals -Assist with updating and maintaining the Corporation’s compliance data

What You Bring

-Good computing skills, able to use Microsoft suite of systems -Strong communication, organisational, and time management skills are essential -Relevant understanding of, and implementing Aboriginal Cultural Protocols while engaging with Traditional Owners -Ability to travel to regional locations -This position relates to Section 50 (d) of the West Australian Equal Employment Opportunity Act 1984, where Aboriginality is considered a genuine occupational qualification for this position
