Overview

Assist civil engineering and construction projects, data collection, and software tasks

Tasks

-Provide support to staff members as needed. -Collect and prepare data for evaluation -Assist in the coordination of projects from the design phase all the way through construction. -May use computer-assisted engineering software and equipment to perform tasks.

What You Bring

-Strong desire to pursue a career in civil engineering or construction management. -Perform, under close supervision, routine aspects of civil engineering and construction management requiring knowledge and application of principles learned in course of study. -Previous internship experience and/or involvement as an active member of related professional student association a plus. -Strong written and verbal communication skills. -Ability to work and thrive in a team environment. -Solid organizational skills with a focus on details. -Solid analytical, conceptual, and problem solving skills. -Experience with AutoCAD preferred. -Ability to effectively interface with all levels of personnel and management. -Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
