- Follow all safety requirements at the jobsite

- Write test plans with direction of lead engineer (Area, Zone, Section level)
- Perform zone level testing in support of PLC commissioning
- Write Controls Functional Specification / Description of Operations under direction of lead engineer
- Perform zone level testing in support of SCADA commissioning
- Monitor and document the progress of subcontractors
- Preparation and review of daily and weekly progress reports
- Troubleshoot electrical based problems on conveyor systems, motors, drives, etc.
- Perform device level testing in support of PLC commissioning
- Write, debug, and test PLC code under direction of lead engineer
- Develop and test SCADA/HMI programs under direction of lead engineer
- SCADA commissioning and testing under the direction of lead engineer
- Write commissioning checklist with direction of lead engineer
- Commission and test PLC control panel under the direction of lead engineer
- Perform device level testing in support of SCADA commissioning
- Configure component level devices
- Document area level testing for PLC and SCADA commissioning (Product running test)
- Document device level testing for PLC and SCADA commissioning (commissioning Checklist)
- Perform of quality checks on-site and provide documentation of completion and status
- Perform area level testing in support of SCADA commissioning

- Knowledgeable of project scheduling
- Must be comfortable working in an office setting and a factory / construction environment
- Logical mentality, skilled in understanding and designing Engineering Science Logic & Programming
- Demonstrable skills in ladder logic, Allen-Bradley Systems; Studio 5000
- Demonstrable skills in ladder logic, Siemens Systems; TIA-Portal
- Able to lift to 30 lbs. without difficulty
- Strong team mentality and willingness to accept responsibility for project completion
- Familiar with installation, programming, and providing technical support of PLC based hardware and software, such as Allen-Bradley and Siemens
- Must be able to communicate effectively
- Must have the ability to properly prioritize work/activities
- Ability to understand and interpret Electrical Schematics
- Possess a strong ability to solve problems and research solutions
- Ability to identify network communication issues reactively and proactively
- Able to climb a 2-story ladder
- Capable of working 10 hours standing / sitting / walking / climbing stairs
- Ability to work in a team and autonomous situations
- Must be willing and able to travel 80% routinely.
- Possess knowledge of PLC programming control systems (Siemens or Allen Bradley)
- Knowledge of computer systems and Windows (personal computers)
- Capable of programming in SQL, Visual Basic, C, C++, C#, or equivalent
- Able to walk a mile in 20 minutes
- Familiar with communication protocols (Ethernet IP, Modbus, etc.)
- Ability to understand PLC programs, SCADA systems
- Solid understanding of networking principles and computer hardware setup
- Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering/Technology discipline
