  • Ensure projects are built according to approved plans, specifications, shop drawings, and building codes
  • Provide direction to field staff and coordinate resources to meet project objectives
  • Supervise craft employees and subcontractors on site regarding safety, schedule, and quality expectations
  • Leads project safety meetings and participate in developing the Project Specific Safety Program (PSSP)
  • Prepare purchase requisitions and review subtrade/supplier invoices
  • Estimate duration of activities and materials required for multi-discipline estimates
  • Confirm site safety measures meet or exceed corporate safety manuals and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee quality testing requirements and manage Project Quality Plan (PQP) conformance on site
  • Monitor short-term construction schedules to ensure milestones and completion dates are met

  • Ability to plan and manage project schedules, developing solutions for moderate situations within defined guidelines
  • Two-year college, trade or technical diploma (preferred)
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders while building and managing a diverse team
  • Able to meet the physical requirements of the position which involves sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting (up to 50 pounds), working at heights, and in all types of weather conditions (rain, snow, heat etc.)
  • This is a site-based position that will require travel to Ledcor offices and project work sites as needed
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Understanding of current construction practices, documents, costs, and budgets
  • Two to five years of construction experience as a foreman, lead hand, or in a similar supervisory role
