-Shall be skilled in the use of Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint. -Considered an internal expert in area of expertise. -Ability to develop/deliver technical classroom training is required. -Shall have good communication and presentation skills. -Experience in area relative to course of instruction and teaching experience. -Can solve complex problems in field. -An advanced degree and experience, a Ph.D. degree and about 10 years' experience OR a MS degree and 12 years' experience OR a BS degree and approximately 15 years' experience. (Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in an applicable engineering discipline (e.g. electrical, mechanical, civil/structural, nuclear, chemical, computer science, computer related, etc.) -SRS experience -Possessed an active DOE clearance (L or Q) within the past two (2) years. -Familiarity with engineering manuals, procedures, standards, and engineering programs at SRS.
-Operates with regional offices in Los Alamos, Carlsbad, Oak Ridge, Aiken, and Richland to support on-site project needs. -Delivers fixed-price construction, multidisciplinary engineering, staff augmentation, and technical consulting across nuclear and high-hazard environments. -Manages large-scale projects including waste remediation, facility upgrades, decommissioning, and nuclear safety basis development. -Specializes in nuclear operations, environmental cleanup, regulatory compliance, work control, and formal operations readiness. -Typical clients include DOE, NRC, NNSA, Canadian Nuclear Laboratories, and major commercial nuclear and high-hazard operators. -Supports flagship sites like Hanford, LANL, ORNL, Paducah, TWPC, WIPP, and Chalk River with deep technical and operational expertise. -Leadership draws on decades of nuclear experience.
