Tasks

-Supervise and mentor accounting and controlling staff -Monitor and manage cash flow, providing regular updates on its status and projections -Prepare relevant documentation and manage all local tax filings -Coordinate and manage external audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing any audit findings -Assist in the development of financial forecasts -Assign tasks, set performance goals and provide regular feedback and training opportunities. -Follow the Hexagon Financial policies on reporting, in OneStream, including Inter Company Transactions (ICO) -Support and provide assistance to the FP&A team for analysis as required -Continued review and implementation of internal processes and procedures as needed. -Review GL analysis for validity and ensure proper authorization of Journal Entries -Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations, laws, and internal policies -Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure timely payments and collections -Monitor forecast performance and provide variance analysis to ensure financial goals are met -Assist with succession planning -Manages the payment approvals and authorizations -Review and approve invoices, reconciliations and accounts adjustments -Ensuring compliance with all internal control procedures -Oversee the preparation of the Financial Statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS -Management of own deadlines and corporate deadlines -Build strong relationships with internal and external partners -Management of all related insurance polices, including global group policies -Ensure monthly reporting and analytics deadlines are met

-Compliance with all company policies -Ability to analyze complex financial data -Ability to foster a positive team culture and build strong relationships across departments -High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities -International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) -Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills -Adaptable to a fluid environment, and management of tight deadlines -Tertiary Qualifications – bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (CPA designation is highly preferred) -Familiarity with cost accounting, inventory management, or revenue recognition standards relevant to the sector -Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools -Ability to travel domestically and internationally occasionally -Skills in training and onboarding staff during transitions -At least 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role -Understanding of International Financial Reports -Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP / Oracle / Syteline / OneStream etc.) -Ability to lead and motivate a high-performing team
