Tasks

-Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in a safe manner -Work Order Management - Receive, prioritize and schedule Maintenance Work Orders and track progress -Develop and Maintain PM schedules, track progress, and effectiveness -Negotiate with contractors and vendors for reasonable pricing and ensuring that the scope of the work is correct -Communicate priorities, delays, updates, and completion of work orders to the maintenance team and the operations team -Support root cause analysis of safety incidents -Coordinate with purchasing for the ordering of parts -Maintain an accurate inventory of critical spare parts -Establish the correct scorecard measurables for each quarter and maintain them -Assist in budgeting and cost control for the maintenance team -Maintain records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and downtime -Support capital projects and equipment installations -Utilize the Upkeep Maintenance Management System to manage work orders and assets
