Tasks
-Identifies target territories for growth, that represents the most significant opportunities for GEIS to maximize sales results. Engages the local GEIS sales team and agents to validate and execute those growth opportunities. -Provides input as appropriate to enable division management to establish realistic goals for national accounts; accomplished through monitoring national account business, product trends and competitive conditions. -Ensure that regional sales personnel adhere to negotiated national agreements. -Works with channel partner corporate teams to ensure all relevant new products are promoted proactively within their respective organizations. This will include sales and marketing promotions where appropriate. -Maintains corporate relationships with key national partners in the electrical channel. -Develops and implements sales and marketing strategies to increase sales to meet division and corporate goals of growth and profitability. -Collaborates with Eaton North American Sales (NAS) national and regional channel leadership to ensure alignment with broader Eaton strategy. -Works closely with regional sales leaders and agents to ensure that a viable working relationship is maintained and sales meet target expectations. -Obtain feedback from regional sales leaders through monthly reviews and initiate proactive and/or corrective action plans as necessary to assure the attainment of sales objectives. -Leads national and regional planning sessions to identify and execute growth strategies. -Analyzes monthly sales trends from channel partner sales and inventory reports and communicates results to GEIS division leadership.

What You Bring
-Minimum 7 years experience in electrical manufacturing sales -Minimum 2 years experience in Key Account sales -Ability to develop and foster win-win relationships -Experience in channel management (Agents, Distribution, Key Specifiers, Designers) -Extensive sales/national accounts experience in the electrical industry -Ability to drive cross functional requirements related to customer service, pricing, marketing, operations, supply chain and product innovation -Negotiation, selling, creativity and persuasion skills -Demonstrated ability to meet sales volume commitments -Vertical Marketing experience (segmentation, value propositions, product positioning) -Experience with Crouse Hinds and B-line or competitive products -Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1, H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, 1-485 job profitability, etc. -Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution -Strong understanding of channel and vertical marketing -Experience with large national electrical wholesale distributors (Graybar, Wesco, Sonepar, etc.) -Experience with Key Account Sales, National Account Users and Electrical Distribution -Understanding of market and go to market strategies -Strong presentation skills including oral and use of media (PPT and others)
