Monitor contractor performance and support in claims management, variation orders, and dispute resolution.
Provide contractual advice during project execution and commercial negotiations.
Administer pre-award and post-award contract activities, including contract execution, amendments, claims, and closeouts.
Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and international contracting standards (FIDIC, LOGIC, NEC, etc.).
Maintain up-to-date contract status reports and documentation.
Prepare, review, and negotiate contractual documents, terms & conditions, and commercial agreements for offshore oil & gas projects.
Support tendering and bid evaluation processes by identifying contractual risks and commercial implications.
Liaise with project management, legal, procurement, and finance teams to ensure smooth contract administration.
Excellent communication and report writing abilities.
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Engineer with a strong background in offshore oil & gas projects to manage and administer contracts throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in contract formulation, negotiation, risk assessment, and post-award contract management within the EPC / Offshore industry.
In-depth knowledge of contract law, commercial terms, and EPC contracting procedures.
Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
Postgraduate qualification in Contract Management / Project Management will be an added advantage.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Law, or Business Administration.
Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and contract management tools.
Experience in offshore / subsea / oil & gas contracting (Engineering, Procurement, Installation, and Commissioning phases).
