Tasks

-Design, analyze and/or evaluate specific engineering requirements. Develop basic sketches and/or -Assist less experienced engineers and technicians on specific technical problems. -Consult with appropriate engineering functions to insure design criteria is suitable for the application and advise those concerned of changes required. -Carry out basic economic studies for bid purposes. -Participate in various internal meetings -Obtain and develop data for and prepare specifications, test procedures, safety reports and purchase-related documents. -Engage in domestic and/or international travel as required. -May perform lead function in achieving engineering schedule, hours and technical quality. Prepare instructions and supplemental information for lower level engineers. -Identify and process changes that impact contract margin. -Review, analyze, and report on supplier, architect-engineer and consortium partner drawings and proposals and make recommendations on specific technical areas. -Prepare or lead the preparation of technical documents.
