Tasks

-Assist with Operating plant equipment to test and ensure proper functioning after repairs, and potentially operating other equipment like forklifts or manlifts. -Assist with Diagnosing and resolving issues with various plant systems and equipment, including dryers, mixers, conveyors, and control systems. -Assist with Cutting, grinding, welding, and fabricating plant parts as needed. Safety and Documentation: -Following safety procedures, maintaining records of repairs and maintenance, and ensuring a clean work environment. -Assist with Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of parts, including conveyor belts, screens, wear parts, and pumps.

What You Bring

-Must be able to lift and carry from floor level to waist level and push/pull objects with similar force. -Equipment Operation: Ability to operate various plant equipment and machinery. -Troubleshooting and Diagnostic Skills: Ability to identify and diagnose malfunctions and take appropriate corrective action. -Must be capable of climbing silos, aggregate bins and conveyor buildings and perform tasks at these heights. -Must be able to lift 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or pull up to 50 pounds frequently. -Must possess a valid driver’s license. -Welding and Fabrication: Proficiency in welding, cutting, and fabricating. -Must be physically capable of lifting and placing large components. -Communication and Collaboration: Ability to communicate effectively with other plant personnel and supervisors. -There is significant noise, vibration and heat which is intermittent but may cause hearing loss and bodily harm. -Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, nights and weekends as needed. -Mechanical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, with a thorough understanding of plant equipment and systems. -Safety Awareness: Strong understanding of safety procedures and ability to work safely in a plant environment.
