The Role

Overview

Assist with AP tasks, invoice processing, vendor management, and month‑end close.

Tasks

-Processing employee reimbursement requests, including verifying receipts, ensuring compliance with company travel & expense policies, and preparing reimbursements for payment; -Helping maintain accurate AP records and filing systems (electronic and/or paper); -Reviewing supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance with company policies; -Reviewing vendor Certificates of Insurance (COIs) for compliance with company requirements; -Maintaining & updating our Certificate of Insurance software; -Assisting with month-end close activities, including accruals and reconciliations as needed; -Supporting vendor management by helping resolve invoice discrepancies and inquiries; -Responding to employee inquiries regarding reimbursement status and policy compliance; -And supporting special projects and process improvement initiatives within Accounting & Finance. -Comparing vendor invoices to subagreements to ensure billing accuracy and contract compliance; -Assisting in preparing payment runs and ensuring timely vendor payments; -Assisting with invoice processing, verification, and entry into the accounting system;

What You Bring

-Ability to work independently and in a team environment. -Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. -Currently pursuing an Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. -Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. -Strong verbal and written communication skills. -Availability on Friday is required.
